Hilfy Chanur entered our lives as a stray on October 26, when she skittered across our path in a restaurant parking lot. Ron meowed at her, and she answered him with a quizzical look. Worried about such a small kitten on a cold night, we took her home, intending to take her to a shelter the next morning. She never left. We are now, to our dismay, a three-cat household.
